OverviewTravelling to Disneyland Paris in 2025
Disneyland Paris at Marne-la-Vallée is Europe's most visited theme park resort — and getting there from the airport is simpler than most families expect, provided you choose the right mode of transport. This guide covers every option, every route, and every detail you need before your trip.
The resort is located approximately 32 km east of central Paris, served by three international airports: Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Orly (ORY), and Beauvais Tillé (BVA). Your choice of airport and transport option will define the first — and last — impression your family has of the trip.
Step 1Which Airport Should You Use?
Most international visitors travelling to Disneyland Paris arrive at one of three airports. Understanding the differences will help you plan the best route.
Charles de Gaulle (CDG) — Most Recommended
CDG is the largest and busiest airport in France, with the widest range of international connections. It is approximately 47 km from Disneyland Paris — around 45 to 60 minutes by private transfer. Most transatlantic, long-haul, and major European flights land here, making it the default choice for families flying from outside Europe.
Orly (ORY) — Closest to Paris
Orly is located just 14 km south of Paris, making it the geographically closest airport to the city — but at roughly 55 km from Disneyland Paris it is not significantly nearer than CDG for resort-bound travellers. Orly handles many European short-haul routes and is often used by families flying from southern Europe, North Africa, and domestic French destinations.
Beauvais Tillé (BVA) — Budget Airline Hub
Beauvais is the hub for Ryanair and several other low-cost carriers. At 85 km north of Paris — and approximately 130 km from Disneyland — it is the furthest airport from the resort. The per-ticket savings achieved by flying Ryanair can erode quickly when transport costs are factored in, particularly for families. That said, with a private direct transfer it remains a viable option.
If you have flexibility in choosing your airport, CDG offers the widest choice of airlines, the most convenient direct connections to Disneyland Paris, and the best-developed private transfer infrastructure.
Step 2How to Get from the Airport to Disneyland Paris
There are four main transport options for travelling to Disneyland Paris from any Paris airport. Here's how they compare in real-world use.
| Option | Time from CDG | Fixed Price | Door-to-Door | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Private Minivan (CDGParisCab) | 45–60 min | ✓ Yes | ✓ Yes | Families, groups 2–8 |
| RER B + RER A Train | ~1h40 | ✓ Fixed | ✗ Station only | Solo, light luggage |
| Shared Shuttle Bus | 90–150 min | ~ Fixed / slow | ✗ Multi-stop | Solo budget traveller |
| Metered Taxi | 45–70 min | ✗ Metered | ✓ Yes | 1–3 people, light bags |
The private transfer: what actually happens
A private minivan transfer with CDGParisCab works like this:
- 1Book online at cdgpariscab.com — takes under 2 minutes. Instant email confirmation with driver contact details.
- 2Your driver tracks your flight in real time. Delays are handled automatically — no calls, no extra charges.
- 3Exit arrivals — your driver is waiting with a name board at the correct terminal exit.
- 4Board the Mercedes V-Class — up to 8 passengers, all luggage loaded, child seats fitted if requested.
- 5Arrive at your Disney hotel — deposited at the entrance. Price paid: exactly the fixed amount quoted at booking.
The RER train: is it worth it?
From CDG, the RER B runs into Paris (Châtelet–Les Halles or Gare du Nord), where you change to the RER A direction Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy — the last stop, which deposits you at the Disneyland Paris entrance. Total journey: approximately 1 hour 40 minutes.
The train is a reasonable option for a solo adult with one bag. For a family of four with suitcases, pushchairs, and tired children, navigating one of the world's largest metro interchanges at Châtelet–Les Halles is a significant undertaking — particularly after a long flight.

Step 3Disneyland Paris Hotels: Which One Are You At?
Disneyland Paris has six on-site hotels plus a range of nearby partner properties. All are served by CDGParisCab transfers — your driver takes you to the entrance of your specific hotel.
We also cover Val d'Europe, Marriott Village, and all off-site hotels and résidences within the Marne-la-Vallée area. Simply confirm your full address when booking.
Step 4Travel Tips for Disneyland Paris with Families
- Book your transfer before departure. You'll receive driver contact details by email, eliminating any uncertainty the moment you land.
- Request child seats at booking. Available free — specify child ages so the correct seat type is fitted and ready in the vehicle.
- Allow 60–90 minutes from wheels-down to vehicle. CDG in particular can be slow for luggage collection and immigration. Your driver waits at no extra cost.
- Keep essentials in your carry-on. Snacks, tablets, comfort toys — have them accessible, not in the hold, for the transfer to the hotel.
- Early arrival and check-in times. Most Disney hotels check in from 3 PM. If you arrive earlier, the hotel will store luggage while you go straight to the parks.
- Book the return transfer now. Securing your Disney-to-airport leg at the same time means one less thing to organise during your stay.
- Inform your driver of special requirements. Wheelchair accessibility, extra luggage, oversized pushchairs — mention these at booking.
- ✓ Transfer booked — confirmation email received
- ✓ Child seat ages specified — seat type confirmed
- ✓ Driver's contact number saved to your phone
- ✓ Hotel address confirmed and shared with driver
- ✓ Return transfer booked if required
- ✓ Snacks and entertainment packed in carry-on
Step 5The Return Journey: Disneyland Paris to the Airport
CDGParisCab handles return transfers from Disneyland Paris back to CDG, Orly, or Beauvais with the same fixed-price, Mercedes V-Class service. For the return leg, your driver will collect you from your hotel entrance at a pre-agreed time based on your flight departure.
We recommend allowing:
- CDG departures: at least 3 hours before your flight's scheduled departure time
- Orly departures: at least 2.5 hours before departure
- Beauvais departures: at least 3.5 hours before departure
